Edison, Disney Springs, Orlando, Florida

Deep in the heart of Disney realm in Orlando, there are too many good restaurants to name. Across the parks, boardwalk, and resorts, there are many culinary themes, and they’re all delicious. For example, if you find yourself in trendy Disney Springs anytime soon, check out a restaurant called “Edison.” The building itself is interesting in design with a turn-of-the-century industrial theme—giant gears, old machinery, massive factory windows, and, of course, an assortment of studded leather furniture fit for capitalist magnates.

When you’re there, try something on the high roller cocktail menu—an epic list of multi-layered concoctions that will expand your mixological acumen. Then, get the Edison burger. The meat is so succulent, so savory, you’ll be trying to catch the juices running down your hands. The burger owes its rich flavor to a signature blend of—get this—sirloin, beef ribs, and brisket (of course it’s incredible!). Topped with white cheddar, thick bacon, and onion crisps, and served with hand-cut fries, this burger is the meal you wish would never end.

If you’re craving a little tom+chee, Edison’s is a cut above the rest. Tomato, cheese, herbs, and oil, combine to make a soup that is hearty, delectable, and, well, Italian. It’s very satisfying. And the grilled cheese that goes with it is thick, crisp, and bigger than the plate; another filling dish that will be as memorable as your Disney vacation.
